Stayed here for one night the room was ok just a standard room. Woke in the morning to find that my car and 7 others had been broken into with the windows being smashed. Whilst on the phone to the police I overheard a conversation between staff saying it happens weekly. If I would have known that I would have parked in the disabled bay right by the entrance. So just be aware.

Standard premier inn, rooms comfortable, nice and clean but location may be a problem if you don't want some scumbag breaking into your car in the morning.

Mostly just what you would expect from a premier inn, except, there was a fella sitting in the reception looking a bit sorry for himself. He started chatting about how he's had better days.
Later, he was in the corridor asking guests for money as he had none and couldn't eat until Monday.
Then again, later, he was just loitering about in reception, he clearly knew the receptionist and she was happy to just let him stay there.
Bit weird!

Great customer service very friendly and helpful team. Carl cooked a five star plus breakfast, matching the breakfast cooked by Denise a few weeks earlier. We will be visiting family again in a few weeks and staying again. Keep up the great work and thank you.

The only fault was at breakfast we was eating our cereal and the waitress brought our hot food out and left it on the table. No apology. This shouldn't have happened until we had finished our cereal. Food was then only lwarm when we come yo eat it.

Yet another great Premier Inn. Good, quality breakfast served here or you have the choice of the Toby Carvery just yards away. Review update, 05 10 2024. Another overnight visit today. Stayed in room 202 on Premier Plus room on first floor. The room appears to have been recently refurbished and all the improvements have been well thought out and tastefully done. First class place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff on reception and cleaning. All a credit to Premier Inn.

If you just want to park up and leave the car. Theres plenty of buses stopping outside hotel and a train station over the road. Toby inn next door.
I would go again just for breakfast. It was better than the 5 star hotel we went on to stay in. Well done to the 2 ladies who looked after us at breakfast and also cooked. Thank you

Stayed here over bank holiday weekend.unfortunately when we entered the car park a CSI van was cleaning away broken glass from a car robbery, which left me feeling very uneasy. However the night passed with no trouble.
The room was smaller than other Premier inns we had stopped at in width, and the location was on a industrial estate so not much to do around walking distance.
The staff left a packet of jammie dodgers for the kids which they enjoyed. The family Had a very good night sleep, but mine was a 4/10 due to worrying about the break ins which had happend.
Great food choice and very pleasant staff.
Not a major point but there was no moveable shower head to just wash your hair it was a solid overhead which meant you had to get into the shower fully to use it.

All OK, checking in OK, parking remember to log your car, its Euro Car parks in control of the Car park and they'd ticket your Grannies mobility scooter if they could. Hotel service good, room good, good sized desk, breakfast good. Free wifi poor, had to pay for an upgrade. Be warned; do not rely on food after 9pm in the nearby Toby as there is non, which rather makes this hotel rather pointless for the business traveler or those arriving after 9pm and wish a sit down meal.

The staff here are so friendly and welcoming Tracy on reception was so kind and helpful Karen who I think never sits down is always so friendly and helpful and the chef Denise is so hard working and her food is perfect in fact all the staff are so friendly I cannot fault any of them I had a lovely stay will most definitely go back and must not forget Kirsty she is also very hard working and makes time for a quick chat so lovely o dear I also forgot to mention Janet on this review she is one of the receptionist and what a lovely kind helpful lady she is 😁

Bed very comfortable. Room clean and quiet. Breakfast onsite good. If you need the hospital the location, is perfect but a bit of a rough area and not near the city centre. Toby Carvery next door which is excellent.
